Hi everybody,

This past summer, Best Buy Canada & the Geek Squad partnered with us in bringing technology to the senior residents at the Kiwanis Care Centre (KCC) in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Cyber-Seniors youth mentors from local high school, Windsor Secondary created an intergenerational club at the centre and teamed up with Best Buy to surprise the centre with a generously donated tech lab which included: five Microsoft Surface tablets, an HP Desktop computer, an LG webOS SmartTV, an LG SoundPlate, a Singing Machine Karaoke machine and a Wii U gaming system. 

This wonderfully touching video documents the positive impact the program has had on the residents at the KCC and how just connected the seniors now feel, not only to online technology but more importantly to their families and community as well. It’s moments like these that reaffirm the “Why” in what we do.
