This month, Emily Curcuturto from Cedarvale Lodge Retirement Residence and Sonia Roul from Sienna Senior Living, will walk attendees through their experience implementing a Cyber-Seniors program in their community and share some best practices and tips..

Emily Curcuruto is a Lifestyle Consultant at Cedarvale Lodge Retirement Residence. Emily has been with Sienna Senior Living for five years. With her dedication to excellence in best practice, Emily is a peer mentor for the retirement division. Emily has a passion for innovation, creativity and enriching the lives of the older adults with whom she provides meaningful opportunities.  Emily recently co-presented on the Cyber Seniors Pilot Program at the 2015 Therapeutic Recreation Ontario (TRO) Conference as well as Therapeutic Recreation Ontario (TRO) Webinar in September.

Sonia Roul is a Recreation and Leisure consultant with Sienna Senior Living.  With thirteen years experience in long term care, Sonia recently joined Sienna supporting recreation and leisure innovation in sixteen care communities.  In 2014 Sonia and her team were excited to initiate the the the Cyber Seniors Program at Villa Leonardo Gambin Long Term Care Community.  At the 2015 Therapeutic Recreation Ontario (TRO) Conference and September Therapeutic Recreation Ontario (TRO) webinar, Sonia co-presented on the Cyber-Seniors Pilot Program experiences. As a Registered Recreation Therapist (R/TRO), Sonia is a proud Therapeutic Recreation professional.
