Linda Sjostrom interviews Director and Editor Saffron Cassaday about her film Cyber-Seniors which plays at the 2014 Victoria Film Festival.

Here’s what Linda had to say about the film:

“Cyber-Seniors is a documentary that follows two groups of people: seniors who are trying their hand at navigating the internet, and the young mentors who are helping them do it. The film is beautifully done. From early on I was reminded of my own grandparents and great-grandparents, and I can’t help but feel that there are many out there who know firsthand what it feels like to be on the receiving end of the lessons, as well. Cyber-Seniorsis hilarious — with none of the subjects seeming to hold back how they really feel — but also serves as a good example of how patience and humor can help to bridge a technological gap that can sometimes seems insurmountable.”
