Project GOAL Screening in Washington D.C.

Hi Guys,

Wednesday night we screened at the Motion Picture Association of America in Washington D.C. in support of Project GOAL (Get Older Adults onLine). We had such a great time and we’d like to say thank you to Project GOAL and Debra Berlin for organizing and hosting the event.

Project GOAL serves “to help promote the adoption of broadband services by older adults, to raise the profile of the challenges confronting the use and adoption of technology within the older community, and to create a new voice representing these issues.” Project GOAL’s work is very much inline with the work that Cyber-Seniors does. We believe that this is an excellent partnership and we look forward to working  with them more in the future.

We’d also like to say thank you to all the sponsors that were involved in the screening. The support from Comcast NBCUniversal, AT&T, Time Warner Cable and Consumer Electronic Association was greatly appreciated.

We were so glad to see such strong support in Washington for intergenerational programs such as Cyber-Seniors and AARP foundations “Mentor Up“.

The screening was truly wonderful and was made even better by a fantastic and inspiring speech delivered by Commissioner Mignon Clyburn

Of course an inaugural selfie was in order before the film could be screened. 🙂
